HonorBound Foundation’s Executive Director Phil Kraft has been appointed to the City of Tempe Veterans Commission. Kraft will serve as the Veteran Supportive Service Organization Member. In his new role, Kraft will have the opportunity to publicly address local and national veterans’ issues, as well as push for appropriate legislative changes. “I’m honored by this appointment,” Kraft says, “It will be a chance to effect local policy changes that will improve the lives of veterans in the Tempe community, and pave the way for change on a larger scale.”

Phil has been an active voice for veterans since 1978, when he began his mission to ensure that veterans receive the honor, dignity and respect they earned through service to our country. His commitment to our nation’s heroes will improve veterans’ lives in the Tempe community and beyond.

Phil said: “I was warmly welcomed to the Tempe Veterans Commission as the Veteran Supportive Service Organization Member. They were impressed with the speed of our turnaround and the practical kind of assistance we provide.”

“Everyone in the photo is a veteran and currently works in one capacity or another to improve the lives of veterans in the City of Tempe. Looking forward to working with them.”
