  • Our fight to help veterans began over 40 years ago, when we realized just how many veterans were suffering from Agent Orange (AO) exposure and not getting any help. Finally, this week an appeals court in Washington ruled in favor of providing overdue assistance to tens of thousands of Navy veterans whose health suffered because of AO.

  • Executive Director, Phil Kraft attended the Blinded Veterans Association Christmas party at the Phoenix VA on Tuesday, December 11th. He spent time talking with William Roy Stinson, a visually-impaired Vietnam veteran, whose company, SAAVI trains visually impaired veterans for food service and hospitality. The event was a wonderful experience and a great chance to connect with fellow veterans.

  • At HonorBound, we have dedicated the month of December to spreading the message about women veterans’ issues. On December 17th, our director, Phil Kraft, met with a team of leaders from the Women Veterans Program in Phoenix, who are spearheading programs to support women veterans. Our mission is clear: provide resources and emergency financial assistance to veterans in need.

  • On Wednesday our very own Pamela and Susan presented both Homes for the Brave and the Madaras Home, on behalf of HonorBound Foundation, a check to help cover a portion of the cost of their HVAC system.

The memorial is uniquely designed so that each year the at precisely 11:11 a.m. on Veterans Day the sun’s rays pass through the ellipses of the five armed services pillars, spotlighting a mosaic of the great seal of the United States. The Veterans Day event was a great success and provided a chance for attendees to honor our country's veterans.

  • HonorBound proudly sponsored Homes for the Brave’s fourth annual Stadium Stair Climb Challenge at Webster Bank Arena Saturday, September 15th. This challenge is the main fundraiser for Homes For The Brave, a Bridgeport-based veterans’ charity that provides transitional & permanent housing for homeless veterans.
